Robi’s role as the gender officer is one of the utmost importance. She ensures that the programs that we implement take the different gender roles and responsibilities into consideration and that benefits derived from our projects are received by all members of the community. As a board member of the CCT he was also one of the people responsible for the organizations creation. Her role as an administrator is to look into the financial integrity of the institution as well as to look after day to day operations. Robi is a graduate of Biology from the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio city and has had extensive experience working with the Cordillera communities through her work with the Cordillera Human Rights organization as well as the Cordillera Peoples Alliance. She is also well versed in accounting, being the external accountant for both organizations. Robi hails from the village of Tinoc in Ifugao. Located in the center of the Cordillera mountains, this area is one of the project areas for CCT’s current programs. Her experience growing in one of the most remote areas in the region and first hand knowledge of the people’s way of life and local environment are invaluable contributions to the CCT’s overall objectives.
