Thomas Adiguma

Thomas is originally from Good Enough Island, Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea. A graduate from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, he holds a computer science degree plus a Diploma in Applied Physics. He is currently a computer and data manager for the Papua New Guinea Institute of Medical Research in Madang. His interests are focused on networking, programming and web design. Thomas serves as the Kristus volunteer IT consultant for the Yagaum Hospital Distance Learning and Resource Center. Thomas hopes to introduce computers as a tool to help medical staff improve their knowledge and skills in order to benefit others.

Jeruel Basalong

Jeruel is an electronics and communications engineer living in La Trinidad, Benguet Province, Philippines. While managing a small business with some friends providing computer rentals, printing and hardware/software services, he observed that many members from Lutheran and other congregations in rural areas came to him for services. Realizing that there is an urgent need to address this problem, he decided to volunteer his services to the emerging work of Kristus Philippines. Jeruel also volunteers to help produce hymnals and other church materials.

Jerahmeel Lasegan

Jerahmeel is currently teaching in Benguet State university - Buguias Campus, Philippines. He teaches sciences, especially physics as that was what he took his masters degree on. He has been working with youth organizations and was involved in various sportfests for youth. He gives lectures and trainings on leadership to groups and young men and women. He usually trains young people on musical instruments and teaches computer basics.

 

Duane Saari, PhD
Board Member

Duane is a trainer and teacher specializing in web based delivery of distance learning. He is a faculty member of Empire State College, a campus of the State University of New York and teaches organizational behavior. For over 25 years, Duane has worked with not-for-profits, corporations, governmental agencies and volunteers to build networks that support community development in the United States as well as globally. Currently, he is president of The Perceval Group that uses technology to support community building projects and as president of this company edits the Alchemy Journal, an online publication.
