Clare is the Medical
Director (Surgeon) of St. Theodore's
Episcopaly Hospital in Sagada, Mountain
Province, Philippines. Her goal is
to have the hospital elevated to secondary
level and thereby provide more services
to hard-to-reach people throughout
the mountainous northern Cordilleras.
Daria Bayana,
M.D.
Daria is a physician
at St. Theodore's Episcopal Hospital
in Sagada, Mountain Province, Philippines.
She has been involved with different
organizations and institutions - particularly
in their medical mission outreach
to distant villages in the northern
Cordilleras. These trips always challenge
and inspire Daria to be involved in
similar endeavors.

Dinn Cruz
After
working for twenty years as a Pastor
in the Lutheran Church in the Philippines,
Dinn was the first ELCA (South-South)
Philippines Missionary to Papua New
Guinea. He is currently serving as
a Pastor of a local congregation in
Mindanao, Philippines as well as serving
as a volunteer mission adviser for
the Kristus Center.
Minerva Cruz,
M.D.
Minerva
was the first ELCA Medical Missionary
to Papua New Guinea. She served for
over thirty years as a physician in
the Philippines, working at Abatan
Lutheran Health Center in Benguet
Province among other locations. She
is currently a Missionary Physician
serving in Mindanao, Philippines and
is a volunteer medical consultant
for Kristus Center's work among tribal
peoples.

Gigie Sijera-Grant
Gigie is an ordained minister of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
(ELCA) currently serving First
Lutheran Church in Ellicott City,
Maryland. She is a graduate of the Pacific
Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley,
California. A Filipino by birth, her
primary interests are in multicultural
ministry, cross-cultural theology, and
women’s studies. Gigie also has
a background in mass media and communications
from the Far Eastern University in Manila,
Philippines and is actively involved
in a variety of outreach ministries
that address humanitarian and social
justice issues.

Lasegan serves as the President of
the Board of the Lutheran Medical
Mission and Rehabiliation Foundation,
Abatan Lutheran Hospital, Benguet
Philippines. He is also Bishop of
the Lutheran Church in the Philippines.
Miriam Lasegan,
M.D. Board
Member
Miriam
is currently the physician at Abatan
Rural Hospital in Benguet Province,
Philippines. She has been working
with health workers and women volunteers
on community health projects such
as medical outreach outreach programs
and vaccination campaigns. She does
volunteer consulting in rural health
units in the northern Cordilleras.
She also gives lectures and training
on first aid and primary health care
when invited by volunteer health workers.
She hopes to do more medical missions
to various tribal communities in the
future.
Mamy Jocelyn
Ranaivoson, MD, MPH Board
Member
Mamy
is the regional health director of
sub-Saharan Africa for the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America. He is
currently assigned to Nairobi, Kenya,
but travels widely throughout Africa.
An obstetrician by training, he also
holds degrees from the London School
of Tropical Medicine and the Wartburg
Seminary in Health, Theology and Development.
Before assuming his present assignment,
Mamy was the Medical Superintendent
at Yagaum Hospital and the Provincial
Health Officer in the Madang Province
of Papua New Guinea for seven years.
Mamy is internationally renowned for
his research on venomous snakes.

Razafiarijaona,
fondly called "Rija",
is the Medical Superintendent of
Yagaum Rural Hospital, Papua New
Guinea.
Nathalie
Razafiarijaona
Nathalie is the Administrative
Officer at Yagaum Rural Hospital,
Papua New Guinea.

Igorir Sorum Saul Board
Member
Igorir
was born in the Marik tribal village
15 kilometers outside Madang, Papua
New Guinea in the Trans-Gogol area of
Madang Province. Igorir has served the
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua
New Guinea (ELC-PNG) for over 20 years
as a congregation pastor, Dean of Study,
Dean of Students, and as a professor
at Martin Luther Seminary in Papua New
Guinea. For the past four years, he
has served as an executive assistant
to the Bishop of the ELC-PNG in Lae.
He occupies the National Dialogue Coordination
Desk, Office of the Head Bishop and
is responsible for bringing a common
understanding between the ELC-PNG and
Lutheran Charismatic Movement groups
in Papua New Guinea. His major interest
is world religions and he holds an MA
in Islamic Studies.
